Elisha was born in Canada and grew up in Montreal, Quebec. Her father is an automotive design engineer and her mother a homemaker. She has a younger brother and sister. As a child, Elisha was a foot model for children's clothing.

She attended Centennial Regional High School and graduated in 2000. She was interested in acting and her first appeared on the television show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" (1991) in 1996, and became a regular in the role of Megan in 1999. Elisha also co-hosted Popular Mechanics for Kids for 3 years. In 2001, she won a Gemini Award for her performance in the Canadian television movie Lucky Girl, Canada's equivalent of an Emmy.

At age 17, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Soon after arriving, she won her breakthrough role in the television series "24" (2001).

Biography of Nazanin Afshin-Jam

Nazanin Afshin-Jam is an international human rights activist, singer/songwriter, actor, former Miss World Canada and President and co-founder of "Stop Child Executions" organization.

She was born in Tehran in 1979 at the height of Iran's Islamic revolution and a year later her family was forced to flee after her non-political father was arrested, tortured and nearly executed.

After a double major degree in International Relations and Political Science at UBC, Sciences Po in Paris and the ISC in the UK, Afshin-Jam became an advocate with the Red Cross as a Global Youth Educator on the landmine crisis and children affected by war. In 2003, she won Miss Canada and came 1st runner up at Miss World giving her the platform she sought to raise awareness and funds for the Bam Earthquake, the 2004 Tsunami, Fistula patients in Ethiopia, Variety the Children's Charity; youth advocacy to bridge the digital divide and a movement to stop bear bile farming in Asia. In 2006 Afshin-Jam successfully ran an international campaign to save the life of Nazanin Fatehi, a juvenile sentenced to death in Iran for stabbing in self defense one of three assailants that tried to rape her.

Afshin-Jam's battle against child executions continues. She co-founded the Stop Child Executions organization - found on the web at www.stopchildexecutions.com - with the goal of halting the practice in Iran and in the handful of other countries where it still continues.

Meanwhile, Afshin-Jam released a multilingual album called "Someday" charting hits in Canada, USA and Europe. Last year Afshin-Jam was appointed to the board of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation through the office of the Prime Minister of Canada to help eliminate racism and discrimination in Canada.

Afshin-Jam continues to address human rights abuses in China, Burma, Darfur and other countries with tyrannical regimes. She has done speeches at the UN, EU, UK, Canadian Parliament, numerous universities and conferences with media features on major television, radio and print worldwide. Afshin-Jam is also the recipient of several human rights awards of distinction.

Through her speeches and music, Afshin-Jam hopes to continue being a "voice for the voiceless" and deliver her messages of freedom, peace and love worldwide.

Biography of Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan is an Australian actress, TV host and model born in the year 1983. She is the granddaughter of Marcus Whelan, an AFL brownlow medalist. Prior to her work on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, she worked as a model and a host of the popular children’s network, Nickelodeon, wherein she was voted as one of the two favorite hosts of the channel.

As a TV host, Nicky Whelan handled various Australian shows such as Coxy’s Big Break, Beyond the Boundary, Melbourne Woman, and Mooney Valley. She also starred as the fictional celebrity Chrissie Grant on the show Russell Coight’s Celebrity Challenge, the spinoff to All Aussie Adventures.

Nicky Whelan soon went to work to the United States in 2007, wherein she appeared on The Show Biz Show alongside comedian David Spade on Comedy Central. From then on, she and Spade became good friends and even became romantically linked with each other.

She briefly left the United States to do a special appearance in Harrow, London, in support of sustainable transport initiatives to improve the environment. She also posed for the cameras to promote ‘It’s Up to All of Us’ advocacy campaign, also in Harrow. Due to her popularity both in Australia and in abroad, she became one of the choices in the upcoming Bond film, which was in the works during that time. However, Nicky Whelan found greater popularity in the character of Pepper Steiger in the British soap opera Neighbors, which she became part of.
